Bible Question: when we display pictures of jesus , or where a cross neclace why do some religions think this against gods word |
Bible Answer: On many occaisions, when your giving glory to God, Satan, in some form will try to convince you to stop. That's when you need to stand your ground, in the spirit of peace and love, but stand your ground. God inhabits the praises of His people and that same praise is one of our weapons. The old red suit redneck doesn't like people knowing that one bit. I disagree with the comments of Exodus 20:4 as related to a picture or necklace. I have a picture of my wife, but I've never been caught worshipping the picture or my wife. A lot of respect, love, etc, but not worship. We usually have pics of people we love. Keep it simple. That's why Jesus instructs us to come unto Him as a child, who would keep it simple. |
