Bible Question:
The protection of children in the womb, has become an overlooked part of this presidential election. There have been many who dislike the Republican who is running. I have struggled and been attacked for standing with the Party solely for the reason of protecting unborn children. Can anyone tell me how to view this any other way? |
Bible Answer: I do not believe anyone can justify abortion either scripturally or morally. This passage speaks directly to death of a unborn infant. Exodus 21:22-25 (NASB) 22 "If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. 23 "But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise. I think many people will one day stand before God, to their dismay, with the blood of millions of aborted babies on their hands, put there because they voted not their conscious but for the things of this world. They voted for a man that supported abortion, supported homosexuality, supported drunkenness. They choose instead to ignore sin in exchange for the promise of more money in their pockets or simply more of anything of this world. Mark 8:36 (NASB) 36 "For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? |
