Bible Question:
Would someone tell me if the word ( sabath ) mean saturday in which langish. and if it means saturday why do we as christain take sunday when the bible says to keep the sabath holy, thanks for your comments A.R.I.S.E |
Bible Answer: sabbath means "day of rest" and usually refers to the seventh day.Since our Lord rose on the first day of the week,we celebrate it with church"gathering in His name".The name "saturday" has nothing to do with the name "sabbath". |
