Bible Question: Moses had 2 sons; Gershom and Eliezer. I can not find Eliezer mentioned except that he was Moses son. I find very little on Gershom. Can anyone tell me what became of these men? |
Bible Answer: 1 Chronicles 23 tells about their children: 15 The sons of Moses were Gershom and Eliezer. 16 The leader among Gershom's sons was Shebuel. 17 Eliezer had only one son, Rehabiah, the family leader. Rehabiah had numerous descendants. -Gershom which means "foreigner" is one of four mentioned in the Bible. -Eliezer which means "help" is of of 11 men mentioned in the Bible. They remained with their mother and Jethro when Moses returned to Egypt. (Exodus 18:4). They were restored to Moses when Jethro heard of his departure out of Egypt. Steve Searching Scripture |
