Bible Question: As a child I was told that Satan can only hear words and does not know your thoughts. Is this true? Where in the Bible (if its true) can I find reference to this be true? |
Bible Answer: I agree with Steve. That said, however, one must remember that Satan is very old. He is also very intelligent. He has had a long time to study human nature. Just as we can "read the mind" of a little child, I am sure that we are frequently equally transparent to Satan. Of course, I am using the word "Satan" in the broadest sense of the word. He is not omnipresent. Probably very few of us have actually been in his presence. He has an army of minions, though, who are probably often present. But Satan is called the "Lord of the flies." They are but nuisances without any power that is not granted by God, and are used fully to His own eternal purpose. |
