NASB Psalm 9:16 The LORD has made Himself known;
He has executed judgment.
In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion Selah.
AMPLIFIED 2015 Psalm 9:16 The LORD has made Himself known;
He executes judgment;
The wicked are trapped by the work of their own hands. Higgaion (meditation) Selah.

Bible Note:  skybender: Actually the NASB is the better translation.
I would add remember that thye NIV is a thought for thought version, and the old KJV uses words and syntext we would not use that way today. The NIV is wrtten on a 6th to 8th grade reading level, whereas the KJV is on a 12th grade reading level. I have never read what reading level the NASB is, but I would estimate about 10th grade.
The problem is we have not educated and trained students to read much beyond the grade they were last in. That's my opinion, not a fact. However I was a rather poor reader when I was a child, and the KJV was all I knew until I was an adult. That's the way it was in the "olden days".
