Bible Answer: Mommapbs "So much of the time we are "striving" to praise, sing, pray, serve etc. which are all forms of worship, but do we neglect being "still?" " Yes, we do to much of the time! "How do you put this into practice?" By setting aside time just to be in God's presence not coming in to ask for anything or to seek something but just to sit at His foot stool and listen. I think too many of us forget Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. and when things don't go the way we figure they should we jump in with both feet. We either try to manipulate God to do what we think is the right thing, or we resign ourselves to accept the inevitable missing what God is teaching us or we get in over our heads trying to make it go our way.
