Bible Question: I am a single mother. I have been feeling lost. How do you know there is a God? |
Bible Answer: Well, Jesus says in Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." So how do you know if there is a God? Search. How do you search? Well, in the Holy Bible, there are tons of promises which God gives you. You can challenge any of these promises, with a sincere heart to see if God is real (instead of trying to ridicule those who believe in God which I don't think you're trying to do here). God will answer you. So challenge God, and let God be God and show you His might and power. Also, I'm not sure about others reading this, but I'm talking to you personally: I believe in God's divine healing till today. Challenge God on that too. If you have a sickness or disease, search for verses in the Bible about healing and claim your healing. God will heal you. Either that, or maybe go to a Christian healing center (a church or an event in which a servant of God heals people), and see for yourself if God is real. Either that, or you can go to Christian bookrooms and look for books on these people: Smith Wigglesworth, John Graham Lake, Thomas Welch or Kenneth Haigin. There are many books on these people with photos even. Some have appendixes. Check these out. The testimonies are marvellous, and the photos and appendixes, as well as the diversity of authors and consistency of their claims, substantiate the claims in these books. Erm... ask again differently if I didn't answer your question. |
