Bible Question:
The NKJV says: "Be Angry and do not sin." What is this saying? Is anger encouraged, or am I missing something? |
Bible Answer: Anger is an emotion. The bible is not telling us to deny our emotions, but to exhibit self control in dealing with them. This passage is saying anger is natural (even Jesus got angry) but we are to control our anger so as not to sin. In other words do not seek revenge, gossip, curse, strike back etc at something that makes us angry EdB |
