Bible Answer: Greetings, This verse does not refer to animals being able to think but rather to some people being stubborn as mules rather than letting God guide them step by step. The bit and bridle refers to God having to discipline them somewhat like you use a bit in a mules mouth to guide it. Some people leave God only one option, if He wants to keep them useful to Him, He must use discipline and punishment. prayon |
