Bible Note: Steve: After reading Psalm 26 several times, what you ask is interesting. David in this prayer is reminding the Lord that he has walked in interigrity, and trusted without wavering. David says that his lifestyle will continue. David asks the Lord to redeem and to be gracious to him. Following Davids example, the answer to your question is yes. How does Davids example relate to 63 notes that at times are not setting an example of Davids prayer? I am not asking any vindication from anyone to me. Hostility, or belittling anyone has no vindication. As I understand scripture, such rudeness is something that needs to seek out forgiveness and healing from those who are attacked. I think calling something "Hamkism" is just plain out disrespectfull. Don't you too? This forum is open for all types of people to read. Some are just old "justme's" and others may be looking at what being a Christian is all about. If as scripture says, others will know we are Christians by our love for one another, at times it leaves room for doubt. I stand as guilty as anyone. I will do better. What more can anyone ask? justme |
