NASB | Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield me], [Ezek 34:11-31] I shall not want. |
Bible Question:
In the footnotes of my NASB, indicates that 'want' of I shall not want, might also be rendered 'do.' Is there any further explanation on this? I find this quite interesting. Thanks Craig Bowman |
Bible Answer: Dear Craig, I may be off on this one, so double check me, but I think it is the “shall” the notes refer to that could be “do". Not the “want”. Stand in His grace, WOS |
