Bible Question (short): psm 22:6 is Jesus ref to Himself as worm |
Question (full): regarding psalm 22:6,I have read in my "evidence bible" that this is a reference to Jesus dying on the cross. I recently read a book that states that a well-known evangelist referred to Jesus as a "worm". Upon reading the bible last week,I stumbled upon this verse and one person's interpretation that was found in my study bible which states this is correct. I told a friend of mine that that reference is in scripture-am I correct? I do not want to speak out of context, especially if it is derogatory against the Lord-please help! Was this Messianic prophesy as my Bible states? |
