Bible Question: Upon what basis does God have the right to rule and judge man commanding men to obey him? |
Bible Answer: By right of being our creator. I thing similar to the way parents have the right to expect their little children to obey them. Just as parents want their children to obey them for their protection, God knows what's best for us and ALWAYS has our best interest at heart. Everything He says to do is for our good. He really does know best and He is never wrong and never makes a mistake. He really can be trusted with your life. Remember, we are talking about God, is all powerful, all wise, and all knowing. He sees the future and all that is coming and He loved you enough to give His Son to die for you. In my opinion, to refuse obey Him is a very foolish thing to do. He loves you more then you will ever understand. Even if He didn't have the right to our obedience, I would still want to follow and obey Him. |
