AMPLIFIED 2015 | Psalm 18:1 "I love You [fervently and devotedly], O LORD, my strength." |
Bible Question: Why does Psalm's 18:8 speak of smoke coming out of God's nostrils and fire from God's mouth? Sounds like the GREAT DRAGON, THE ANCIENT SERPENT, THE DEVIL, SATAN, THE DECEIVER OF THE WHOLE WORLD that is spoken of in Revelations 12:7-9. DON'T RELY ON WHAT OTHERS TELL U IS THE WORD OF GOD. THE WAY THAT THE BIBLE IS PORTRAYING THE IMAGE OF GOD IS DEMONIC. God is not an evil fire spitting dragon. This is how the DECEIVER, DECEIVES. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! READ,READ,READ, AND READ SOME MORE. GET UNDERSTANDING. KNOW FOR YOURSELF WHAT IS BEING PLANTED IN YOUR MIND AS BEING THE WORD OF GOD. |
Bible Answer: I like the imagery used here. One of God's own is distressed. When God's own person calls to Him, God acts mightily. God is permitted to be angry, is He not? Romans 1:18-32. He most certainly is. Knowledge is great. It must be accompanied by the fear of the Lord and love. Proverbs 2:5-6; 1 Corinthians 13:1-2. Without these, "Knowledge makes arrogant." 1 Corinthians 8:1 |
