Bible Question: What does it mean by this verse? Are we supposed not to accept gifts given by someone whom we suspected "uncleaned?" |
Bible Answer: I don't think it's a matter of accepting the gift, but rather, how was the gift obtained or the reason for it's giving? And what is your def. of "uncleaned"? If there are no religious ties to it, I see no harm in accepting gifts. I mean if someone wanted to give you something for your birthday and that person didn't know Christ, would you not accept the gift? Of course you would. "Test the spirits" 1 John 4:1 Walk with God and you'll never go wrong. Hope this helps alittle. the old man |
