Bible Question:  does anyone know any good verses about praise and worship to god i have looked it up on www.biblegateway.com but it wasnt much help because there were heaps of verses

Bible Answer:  In my own personal daily devotions in Psalms I recently came across these words of praise which I had to pause to meditate upon.

Psalm 57:9 I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the peoples: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
Psalm 57:10 For thy lovingkindness is great unto the heavens, And thy truth unto the skies.
Psalm 57:11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let thy glory be above all the earth.

Psalm 63:1 O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.
Psalm 63:2 So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.
Psalm 63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.
Psalm 63:4 So will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Psalm 63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;
Psalm 63:6 When I remember thee upon my bed, And meditate on thee in the night-watches.
Psalm 63:7 For thou hast been my help, And in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
Psalm 63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.
