Bible Question:
in Acts chapter 5, God struck down Ananias and Sapphira for their lie. Do you think that this is reasonable for God? Why do you think they got killed just for a lie? However, if we lie today, we can ask for forgiveness. All I want to know, is why God decided to kill them. Please respond. |
Bible Answer: Dear gummy bear, The question is not whether it is reasonable for God to act a certain way or not. But, I'll answer your questions with this: God is sovereign! Ps 115:3- "But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases." You can also read Romans 9:14-23. Acts 5:2 answers your next question. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
