Bible Note: Why? Why? Why? Question: Why? Answer: Because. Ps 115:2 Why should the Gentiles say, "So where is their God?" Pr 5:20 For why should you, my son, be enraptured by an immoral woman, And be embraced in the arms of a seductress? Pr 17:16 Why is there in the hand of a fool the purchase price of wisdom, Since he has no heart for it? Pr 22:27 If you have nothing with which to pay, Why should he take away your bed from under you? Ec 2:15 So I said in my heart, "As it happens to the fool, It also happens to me, And why was I then more wise?" Then I said in my heart, "This also is vanity." Ec 5:6 Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of God that it was an error. Why should God be angry at your excuse and destroy the work of your hands? Ec 7:10 Do not say, "Why were the former days better than these?" For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. Ec 7:16 Do not be overly righteous, Nor be overly wise: Why should you destroy yourself? Ec 7:17 Do not be overly wicked, Nor be foolish: Why should you die before your time? |
