Bible Note: This whole chapter (Psm 107) is laid out beautifully. verses 6, 13, 19, and 28 all record men under different sets of adverse circumstances, crying out to God. The next verse (7, 14, 18, 27) record God's responsive deliverance and then the next verse (8, 15, 19, 28) record their twofold confession: 1. to God his kindness (thanksgiving) and 2. to men (testimony) his wonders. |
