Bible Question: my 5 year old has a science project and we're making a volcano (your typical 5 year old project). we have to add a biblical application. i found in the book of joel 2:3 it spoke of erruptions - to me i'm thinking volcanoes. how can i reword this to make it as simple as possible for me and my 5 year old - or is there another verse in the bible that we can use? |
Bible Answer: The Message says "Wildfire burns everything before this army and fire licks up everything in its wake. Before it arrives, the country is like the Garden of Eden. When it leaves, it is Death Valley. Nothing escapes unscathed." Job 32:19 may work better, "The pressure has built up, like lava beneath the earth. I'm a volcano ready to blow" Two more from also from The Message: He takes one look at earth and triggers an earthquake, points a finger at the mountains, and volcanoes erupt" Psa 104:32. "Step down out of heaven, God; ignite volcanoes in the hearts of the mountains" Psa 144:5. The Message. |
