Bible Question: Why is there no mention of Elihu, the "youngest counselor" of Job? |
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Job 2:11, 32:6-37:24 ... Mommapbs, greetings Elihu was not listed as one of the three (Job 2:11) ... we don't hear from him until the end (32:6-37:24) and I think is the longest speech. He is not just addressing Job (33:1), but the wise men (34:2), too. Those are two places I saw, there are more. Is "nearer the truth" good enough? NO. We need to be on in the bull's eye - pinpoint, not just in the circle. I would say he spoke more truth than the rest. He message wasn't tainted. Searcher |
