Bible Question: I can read the online help, but I dont know Greek or Hebrew. If anyone in this forum is a scholar of either one of these languages could they please adress my original question? |
Bible Answer: Greetings T Rex! I did some quick checking. The problem seems to be that the orignal Hebrew words did not really refer to any bird in particular. However, in the context, they clearly do. Thus, each translation differs somewhat. I checked the Septuagint and it translates the Hebrew words as Ostrich and Stork. I hope this helps!
