Subject: JOB'S FAITH |
Bible Note: Dear blessed, I will offer 2 observations in answer to your question; 1. It think it very obvious that Job was a man of faith- even though it's not stated directly. Consider Job 13:15, "Though He slay me, I will hope (trust) in Him." If this doesn't exhibit faith, I don't know what does. 2. Do "THE BLESSINGS OF GOD DETERMINE OUR LEVEL OF FAITH?" No, they shouldn't, in fact I think the opposite should be stated. We are already blessed with all the spiritual blessings in the heavenlies" (Eph. 1:3). We are to "walk by faith, not sight" (2 Cor. 5:7). Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God" (Rom.10:17). Faith is simply believing God and taking Him at His Word! Do we trust what He says? If one had to "wait" for the blessings of God to fall on them first, than I'd say it wasn't really "by faith"! I hope that makes sense and helps to answer your question.
