Bible Question: Once the rapture takes place, will the holy spirit goes or stay during the tribulation? |
Bible Answer: The Holy Spirit is not removed from the earth during the seventieth week of Daniel (what people call the Tribulation period). For if He were to be removed, how could anyone be saved during that period? Apart from the work of the Holy Spirit in the individual, one cannot be saved. Add to that the fact there will be a great number which no man can number who are saved during the Tribulation. The only reasonable conclusion is: In order for people to be saved during the tribulation, the Holy Spirit must remain here on earth to do His work.
