AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ezra 3:2 Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brothers arose, and they built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the Law of Moses, the man of God. |
Bible Question: in ezra what was the law of moses?? |
Bible Answer: This is refering to what we sometimes call Levitical Law. In Ezra 3:2 we read that two sons and their brothers are building an altar and are giving an offering to God. This is no doubt done in accordance with the written "law" about offerings found in Leviticus, which was written down by Moses. Other sources list Deuteronomy 12:6 as a statement about Ezra 3:2 .
