Bible Question (short): Serious "option" for believers! |
Question (full): REDEMPTION is a “provision” of God and without it there is no spiritual life. Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: FORGIVNESS on the other hand is an “option” for the believer and without it one can’t progress in his spiritual life. Ephes. 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The question is: What grieves the Holy Spirit even though we, as believers, are sealed by Him? I believe that failure to “understand” and “implement” this critical doctrine is one of the largest factors that causes believers to remain as infants in the Christian way of life! CDBJ |
