Bible Question: I guess I meant humane treatment of animals raised for food rather than the actual killing process (not to mention the hormones and antibiotics now used in the raising of such animals which raises the question of safety in our consumption of them.) I know Jesus ate fish and he ate lamb (?) at the Passover, but did he eat unclean meat? He declared all food clean in Mark, but why does it never say that he partook of foods now considered clean? |
Bible Answer: To my knowledge no he did not eat "unclean" foods. Jesus was a Jew and therefore followed the Jewish laws set down by God in the Old Testament. If He would of not followed the Jewish customs and laws he would not of been able to have the impact that He had. I am not sure in where you are referring to in Mark. If you are referring to the dream in which Paul had that was after Jesus assecended in to heaven. Hope I helped. God Bless. |
