Bible Question: The Forum is approaching its first birthday. It is nearing 30,000 postings, and over 5,000 users have logged on, many of whom have departed but a number have stayed on. Why don't we share our ideas about the forum? Such as, Why do you participate? Is the forum what you expected? Has the forum strengthed your faith and committment as a Christian, or weakened it? Have you learned anything worthwhile? Is the Forum a good or bad "advertisement" for Christianity? Would you recommend the Forum to a Christian friend or relative? A non-Christian? What are the Forum's good points? Bad points? Do you feel that your time on the forum is well spent? What degree of reliability do you place on the information you see posted on this Forum? --Hank |
Bible Answer: Greetings Hank! As a relatively new participant I must thank you for asking this! The Forum is not only a place to grow and explore, but it is also very humbling. Sometimes I am saddened by the posts I read(for a variety of reasons) and at other times I am overwhelmed with what I learn. The Lord has used this Forum to sharpen and challenge as well as convict! Thank you LOCKMAN FOUNDATION for making this possible. While I lack the "credentials" of other participants, I do not lack anything in Jesus. There is one thing I hope Forum contributors would consider doing: please write your personal profile! How wonderful to be connected with others of "like precious faith" across the globe! Tell us where you are, not only in the world, but also in your walk with the Lord too! (And remember to update as necessary!) In Jesus! Mommapbs |
