Bible Question: Why is Paul's letter to the Romans considered his most important work? |
Bible Answer: Because it is his longest and his most theologically developed statement on justification. And because it was Luther's interpretation of certain passages of this epistle that set the lines of division within Chriostendom at the time of the Protestant Reformation. It is also the only letter he addressed to a Church which he had not already visited before he wrote to them. Emmaus |
