Bible Question:
The six waterpots that Jesus ask to have filled to the brim, were they in fact symbolic of man? Man was created on the sixth day? Was the Water symbolic of death? God destroyed mankind with water (except Noah) How about the wedding itself? Wasn't that symbolic of life? The fact that man was always celebrating new life, that always ended in Death! Jesus touching the water, is that symbolic of new life? The first miracle in one's life is the touch of Jesus, from death to life? These are some revelations that are on my heart! |
Bible Answer: In my estimation I think one shouldn't try to allegorize everything in Scripture. John pretty much covers the signs and miracles that Jesus did and the reason behind them. John 20:30-31 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. |
