Bible Question: explain the first four chapters of luke |
Bible Answer: The first four verses of Luke 4 is the beginning of the temptation of Christ. After God sent the Holy Ghost to fill Christ, the Holy Ghost led Jesus to the wilderness in order to be tested. (God tests us all in all sorts of manner to see if we are worthy of His gifts.) Satan thus began to test him by tempting him to use His heveanly gifts; had He done so, it would not have made him a fit sacrifice for the sins of man, and thus blocking our way to salvation. |
