Bible Question (short): Why do christians kill their wounded?

Question (full): Why do we as christians kill our wounded? This question was posed in a church service I attended and has weighed heavy on my heart. Since then I've asked myself if I am quilty of such an agreivous act, and in searching my heart I'd have to say yes. Also in the short time I've been involved in the forum I've read posts of others who consistantly mock, ridicule, and torment those who ask questions or offer opinions that are not up to the standard they feel obligated to impose on the forum. And in turn mock christian values and the standard Jesus set for our lives. Jesus said to Saul "Why do you persecute me?" In that question we see that Jesus took abuse of His children very seriously. So I say to all of the forum users to guard yourselves from becoming abusers of the children and to those who will find themselves in the class of abusers there is repentence and forgiveness in Christ Jesus.
