Bible Question: Why did God not destroy Satan from the beginning? |
Bible Answer: Dear Bruno, Act 15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. The short answer is that God did not will that Satan should perish until Satan's appointed time. It is important to remember that God has ordained everything that happens and that those things are ALL a part of His perfect plan for His creation. Is 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. We may wonder why God does things the way He does, but we are mere lumps of clay being molded by the Great Potter. We don't even posess the right to question why He made us the way He did! (see Romans 9) What we think GOD should have done is beside the point. It is what He has done that should concern us. Let us be grateful that it is God (and not man) who is the author of all things. For He is great and greatly to be praised! All His works are perfect, holy and just. God Bless, John |
