Bible Question: Is there any significance in the fact that the color of blood is red? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Jackson! 2 Kings 3:22 is one of the few passages in the Bible that describe blood as being "red." However, there are no verses that stress or give an explanation to the fact that the color of blood is red. Genesis 9:5; Isaiah 63:3,6 and Jer. 2:34 calls blood "lifeblood", so I suppose that the color red could symbolize 'life.' Blessings to you, Makarios |
