Bible Question:
what made israel's sin against the Lord so terrible 2kings 17:6-8 |
Bible Answer: It says that they practiced the customs of the nations which the Lord had driven out, that is the Canaanites. Those guys practiced child sacrifice, gross perversion, incest, worship of other gods--you name it. That in itself is terrible but what is worse is that Israel had had SO MUCH given to them--miracles, the Word of God, wonderful provision--but they STILL went after other gods. Go figure. |
