Bible Question: How will God judge us on judgement day? I am a believer. Will God have a book of all our wrongdoings? Will he ask us why we did all those wrongdoings? I am scared because I HAVE sinned.....and I don't know how I will go through judgement! The bible says that my sins will be "wiped away like clouds" or something. Does that mean that God wipes it away from our books? Please help me. I am very confused about this. I know christians are suppose to look forward to judgement day but it is very hard for me. |
Bible Answer: Paul tells us in Romans that when Christians come before God's judgment seat they come as those who are 'reckoned as righteous' (justified) in Christ. They have been freely 'accounted as righteous' through Christ's blood (Romans 3.24). Thus they are 'clothed with the garment of salvation and robed with the robe of righteousness' (Isaiah 61.10). They need therefore have no fear, for 'He has perfected for ever those who are being sanctified' (Hebrews 10.14). They have received the gift of the righteousness of Christ(Romans 5.17). |
