Subject: Prayer for death |
Bible Note: justme, Greetings my brother. It becomes so difficult at times when one is enduring chronic pain or illness. I think Job epitemizes what is possible fore all of us when we keep our focus on God and our trust in Him. In spite of the pain, adversity, and suffering in the life of Job we see that he spoke what was right about God.He did not allow his faith to be shiprecked. As a result it tells us that God restored Job's fortunes and that his end was better than at the beginning. It's possible for us be joyful even in the midst of pain and suffering. I love the first 41 chapters of Psalms. It gives us so much heart and hope no matter what we may suffer or endure.Quality of life has nothing to do with the lack of pain or suffering or of even how much we endure. It's the quality of our faith, trust and love fore our Lord that will reflect the quality and impact of our lives.Your right it's not an easey road we walk, but it can definitly be a fruitful and joyful one. In Him, lionheart |
