Bible Question: what is the purpose for us |
Bible Answer: Valmike, What is a way that we can provide a life application for us regarding Elijah's mantle? Here is what I have found: [1 Samuel] "3:1-19 EVANGELISM, Obedience- God's call to speak His word comes, and those He calls are to obey. Obedience to the call of God is an essential motive in the task of evangelism. The doctrine of evangelism demands obeying God as He commits to us the task of witnessing. We are servants. That means obedience even if the message is a difficult one as in young Samuel's case. .." (1) Blessings to you, Makarios (1) Disciple's Study Bible, 1988, Holman Bible Publishers, pg. 328 |
