Bible Question: where is the garden of eden? Genesis 2 says it leads to four rivers: Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and Euphrates. The location is so specific, why can no one find the flaming sword or the Garden itself? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Calebkung, I have heard many theories about this question that is not answered directly in Scripture. I believe that God took away the Garden of Eden as part of the consequence of the fall of man. I have heard the land of ancient Mesopotamia (present day Iraq) being mentioned as a possible site of the garden of Eden, but that cannot be substantiated by fact or by Scripture. I believe that if God did not do away with it after Adam and Eve were evicted, then He most certainly took it away in the Flood. Blessings to you, Makarios |
