Bible Answer: Hi JLY, Welcome to the forum. I agree with the post from Emmaus. Personally, I could find nothing of value in comparing Scriptures when I counted Melchizedek pronouns as Deity. He definitely was a type of Christ. Hebrews 7:3, NKJ, "without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually." Or, my rendering for what it is worth (penciled in), "made like the Son of God, *He abides a *Priest perpetually." From the heart, Ray |
