Bible Question: WHAT DOES IT MEAN IN CHPT 6 VS 3 REFERRING TO "YET HIS DAYS SHAL BE ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS." IS THIS THE LIFE SPAN |
Bible Answer: Greetings, Genesis 6:3-4, God's response to this great wickedness God "first" promises that His Spirit shall not strive with man forever, this means that there is a "point of no return" in our rejection of God. God will not woo us forever, there's a point where He will say "no more" All the more reason for us to say that today is the day we will respond to Jesus, instead of waiting for another day. We have no promise that God will draw us then! Said that, to say this God also "promises" that "his days will be one hundred and twenty years," not that this is the outside life span of man, but that this is the time left until the flood! God bless you as you study God's word |
