Bible Answer: I've heard scholars say they think it may originally have been somewhere in or near present-day Iraq. But it comes down to the fact that we just don't know - any guesses we might have are probably as good as any other. Genesis says we can't get back in there (3v24) and when you look at the rest of the Bible it becomes clear that Eden is nothing compared to the future place God has planned for those who trust in Jesus - (Revelation 21 and 22). When I look at that, it doesn't seem worth bothering to find Eden any more... Yours in Christ |
