Bible Question:  In Genesis if there was only Adam and Eve in the garden, how did the world become so populated.
Bible Answer:  I think I can attempt to deal with your question. the reason is simple mathematics. It is something to do with Geometrical Series.. to spare you te technical details, what happens is this.

adam and eve are two people. Assuming they had a minimum of 2 children, the total is now 4. The number will then be 8 and 16 , So what you have is
a series of

2,4,8,16,32,64 and by the time they reach the 15 or so generation the figure will be well over a million. and this with the assumption that they only had 1 girl and 1 boy, but i think that in the 900 odd years that they lived.. they would have more kids and the numbers would be a whole deal bigger.
