Bible Question:
So how did the ark come aground on Arrarat on the 7th month, but the highest mountain tops weren't visible until the 10th month? Was the ark stuck on the very peak of Arrarat, which was almost as tall as the highest mountains, and then for the next three months, there was almost no drainage at all? I mean the bottom of the boat couldn't have been much below the surface, right? And the highest mountains were higher than Arrarat, but still just below the surface of the water. And the timing for the dove doesn't work either, does it? |
Bible Answer: We have no idea the depth of the bottom of the Ark's hull so it could have ran around on a tree of something sticking up and had to wait another 2 or 3 months before the mountain peak was visible. Ever watch a lake dry up. It takes time only toward the very end does it move fast. What is wrong with the dove? |
