Bible Question:
Greetings to you all in the name of Jesus. I asked a question (post 98289) regarding the Protestants answer to the question to where do young children/babies go when they die. The response was very good and I would like to thank you all for your posts; The conclusion I have reached is that young children go to HEAVEN and not hell or the place known as limbo/place of happiness. The Westminster Confession of Faith would be the theologians answer. To those who showed that if King David said that he would see his son after death then as David went to Abraham's bosom/Paradi when he died then, as the word of God does not lie, then for David to see his son then his son would be also there. The matter of baptism as a requirement for entrance to heaven is answered when Jesus on the cross, this day you will be with me in Paradise, to the man on the cross beside Him. I can take no credit for these observations, credit is to the writers of the posts. At the begging of my quest I was informed that there where no scriptures on this topic so I must thank the only person that showed me that there is scripture that deals with, and supports my conclusion, where young children/babies go at the time of death. Thanks DAIRYLEADER5, (post 98624), the scripture is Romans Ch.9. v11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) KJV I hope that you who are of the Protestant persuasion agree with my conclusions and, if not, please let me know. Bible Answer: Hello Rjj I would have to disagree with your answer. If you would read Rom.9:10-16 and pay very close attention to verse 13. It said that God hated Esau before he had done any good or bad before he was born. Read Jeremiah 1:4-5, Galations 1:15, Psalms 139:13-16, Luke 1:15. If God was able to chose Paul,David,John the Baptist and Jacob before they were even born and they were all in the same stage of life as Esau in that they had not committed good or evil , then we can believe that he can do the same with every man woman boy and girl that comes into the world. God is not a respector of persons that he would love Jacob and hate Esau and love everyone else thats comes along in spite of the fact that his forknowledge enables him to know all mankind since he searched all of their hearts before the foundation of the world and saw what each and everyone in the world would do with the gift of salvation and the word of God if he gave that gift to them. Rev:17:8 proves that his elect was put in the book of life before the world began. The scripture says all unrightousness is sin, all un rightness, everything thats not right. And to tell someone that all babies go to heaven when they die is not right. If you preach a doctrine thats not right then you error and sin. Scripture says the devil is a liar and the inventor of lies. If your doctrine is based on a lie then you are figting for the devil and you are a satanist. I am not saying this to heart you feelings i am saying this to help you grow up in the faith. Jesus told those pharisees back in the first century that they were of their father the devil. Why because the were preaching lies. But be of good cheer God wants us to grow up and not believe things just because it sounds good or because it is preached. Their are alot of people out there that just want to hear good things even though they are wrong. In his love Jephthae |
