NASB	Genesis 7:4 "For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made."
AMPLIFIED 2015	Genesis 7:4 "For in seven days I am going to cause it to rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; and I will destroy (blot out, wipe away) every living thing that I have made from the surface of the earth."

Subject: why is the # 7 and 40 used so many times

Bible Note: let's see what they mean to god!..who does not have to be careful on what they mean!.....as "always" things have to happen in the spiritual before they happen in the physical,because man cannot understand spiritual unles he is given it.Read matthew 16:17.now some examples there are three that bear record in heaven...the father,word,holy spirit the spiritual.Now the physical the blood,water,the spirit.which are all one(not a trinity).Everyhing is under the divine pattern consider another example of three.the atom!1.proton2.neutron....3 but the same 1 atom!...now your own body the head cavity,chest cavity,leg cavity,one body.40 weeks a woman pregnant(baby in water in the womb)forty days earth was in water.....
