Subject: How did adam and eve children have child |
Bible Note: Hi, Just a quick thought on this subject. The reason we are not to involve in incest now is primarily biological. But if we consider the time in that Adam and Eve were having children, we should recognize that the earth was still relatively young and many of the diseases and illnesses that exist today, were not in the earth at that time. This would also I believe explain the long lives that they had. Consider Methusala who lived to be 969 years old and Adam who lived to be 939 years old. God commanded them to be "fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth." Genesis 1:28. Also refer to Genesis 4th chapter. |
