Bible Question (short): Are Imotep and Joseph the same person? |
Question (full): Are Imotep and Joseph the same person? In Genesis, Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers. He had eleven siblings and so did Imotep. Joseph was number two to Pharoh, so was Imotep. He oversaw seven years of famon, so did Imotep. Both were known for their wisdom, and they have a couple of other things in common. I am involved in a discussion with a friend from work, and he is wondering if they are the same. Any opinion or facts would be very helpful. Thanks. --Candi |
