Bible Question (short): Hebrew Expert needed for Gen 3:7 |
Question (full): Hebrew expert needed for Gen 3:7. I have Analytical Key to the Old Testament Vol 1 by John Joseph Owens, but I don't understand some of what it says. Next to "Then were opened" it says: consecutive -Niph'al imperfect 3 feminine plural What does it mean when it says "consecutive", What is "Niph'al" and what does the "3" mean? I'm trying to find out if Eve's eyes were opened first and then Adams or if both of their eyes were opened at the same time. Thanks for any help. Blessings, Pam |
